After her graduation on the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad at the Department of Music Pedagogy, she started another bachelor and master degree at the Vocal studies Department (opera singing) at the Faculty of Arts in Belgrade in the class of a profesor Nikola Kitanovski. At this moment she is a first year of a PhD studies. During her master degree she has debuted in a main female role, Pavle, in a serbian opera “The Dusk” by the composer Stevan Hristic in an Opera&Theater “Madlenianum” in Belgrade. After few months, she has debuted in a role of a Adriana in a Cilea’s “Adriana Lecouvreur” in a Belgrade. At the end of a February 2018, she had a debut in a role of Leonora from the Verdi’s “Il Trovatore” at the National theater in Belgrade.
She won a Special prize at the International Competition “Nikola Cvejic” in Ruma at which the President of a Jury was a renowned Serbian soprano Radmila Bakocevic. The Department of a Vocal studies at the Faculty of Music awarded Mirjana for the successfull operatic and concert performances during her master degree with a prize “Biserka Cvejic” from the fund which the famous Serbian mezzosoprano Cvejic has established. Besides her operatic activity, Mirjana has more than a twenty concerts with piano accompany or orchestra where she performed wide repertoire of arias ( Verdi, Donizetti, Bizet, Leoncavallo, Charpentier, Puccini etc).
